Lanciato

Ridden by Tommy Berry, Lanciato

Lanciato (NZ) br g 4 (Per Incanto (US)-Surreptitious (NZ)) ran a mighty race in the Schweppes Handicap over 1800m on Saturday 10th September at Rosehill Gardens.

Ridden by Tommy Berry, Lanciato was caught wide and had to work to settle second, without cover. First attempt at this distance, he fought bravely to eventually run third to the Waller stablemates Antonio Giuseppe and Four Carat. This horse has enormous heart and deserves a win on Australian soil, hopefully his owners, Derek Tam and Peter Coffey will be rewarded soon for their early support and commitment given to the stable.
