The winning combination of Newnham/Parr strikes again.

This time with back to back wins at Randwick 21stApril 2018, Day 3 of The Championships.

Firstly Race 2, Anatola (More Than Ready/Wager) lived up to her impressive trial form, showing brilliant speed and total domination over her rivals, clocking up a 1;08.03 new track record (previously held by Parr but on Deploy) to take out the APN Outdoor Handicap over 1200m.

Next Race, Burning Passion (Northern Meteor/Dearness) had to dig deep but fought off tough challengers in Oxford Poet and Dothraki to secure a gutsy win in the Group 3 TAB Hall Mark Stakes over 1200m.

It was very satisfying to achieve the winning double for all of the owners, including George Altomonte of Corumbene Stud and Darby Racing. Hopefully there will be more wins to come as this pair now heads up north to try their luck.
