As Sydney struggled under a Covid19 lockdown, theme song for the pandemic and namesake filly Allinthistogether (Shocking/Western Star) took out the Pirtek Central Coast 3yo Maiden Handicap over 1600m at Gosford, Tuesday 29thJune 2021.

Ridden by Jockey Josh Parr, she bounced out of the barriers but was happy to take a sit in forth position. Travelling comfortably, Josh allowed the speed to be fought out up front. At the bend he peeled out three-wide to challenge for the lead and when asked Allinthistogether put paid to any opposition in the straight. Coming away to win impressively by 3 lengths, ridden hands and heels to the line.

The stable has always had a big opinion of this 3yo filly, but an earlier injury saw her debut delayed, stepping out to the races for the first time this prep with this her second race start ever. The daughter of 2009 Melbourne Cup winner, Shocking and a High Chaparral mare Western Star (NZ), she is bred to be a stayer with plenty of talent.

Congratulations to her owners and connections. Onwards and Upwards from here.
