The first of a winning double today on the Kensington track at Randwick 17th February 2021 belonged to Nearly Fine (Exosphere/Shemakhan) taking out the Vinery Stud Handicap over 1400m. This consistent 3-y-o gelding has been placed 6 times from 7 starts but today he finally got to claim the deserved win. Ridden superbly by Apprentice Jockey Tom Sherry he jumped well from barrier 5 to settle third just off the fence. Starting his challenge from the turn, he came wide, taking the lead at the 200m mark. Resulting in the impressive win by a good two lengths.

The second victory of the day went to Harmony Rose (Glass Harmonium/Gowana) in the TAB Handicap over 1400m. She came out of barrier 3 well enough, but Elegant Grace (Fastnet Rock/More Valour) zipped away putting a six-length gap on the field. Jockey Josh Parr did not panic though, he held Harmony Rose together, comfortably running second. At the 400m mark horse and rider made their intentions clear. Gathering up the leader and fending off a late challenge by Fashchanel (I Am Invincible/Elegant Fashion). They came away with a dominant win in the end, much to the delight of all her owners lucky enough to be present on the day.

Congratulations to all owners and connections. Another good day for the stable as we continue this amazing run of success.
