Big Parade (Deep Field/Crystal Rock) blitzed his competitors and broke a course record in a brilliant return to racing, Saturday 14th August 2021 at Kembla Grange.

Ridden by his regular jockey Josh Parr, he jumped well from barrier 1, immediately taking up the lead and controlling the race from the get-go. They were briefly taken on by Mamaragan (Wandjina/Fordidden) before powering away from the pack to win the Ranvet Handicap over 1200m by nearly 3.5 lengths and stopping the clock at a blistering 1 minute and 8.44 seconds, notching up a track record to boot. With Mamaragan fading, Animate (Animal kingdom/Flowerchild) placed second and Zakat (Lonhro/Saddaqa) raced on for third position.

Congratulations to owners Steve and Jenny Summers, exciting times ahead with the Sydney Stakes and The Hunter in our sights.
