A sunny Spring Day at Hawkesbury 9th September 2021, saw the stable score the first double for the new season. It came in consecutive races with Your Too Good (Your Song/Way Too Good) taking out the honours in the fourth race, the Independent Liquor Group Maiden Plate over 1100m. Jumping from the inside barrier she slipped along the fence to take the lead. Rated to perfection by Jockey Josh Parr, this 3yo bay filly led all the way to score an easy victory in the end.

Next, in Race five, the XXXX Gold Handicap over 1100m, Bullet Rider (Star Witness/Fantastic Flo Jo) jumped and took up a position, wide but near the leaders. Jockey Sam Clipperton waited patiently, allowing Bullet Rider to race without pressure up the long straight. This 4yo gelding had to rebalance, but when Sam asked him the question at the 50m mark he responded by taking the lead and winning by a head.

Congratulations to both sets of owners and connections.
