The team headed off Thursday 12th December 2019, to see Diamond Thunder contest the Magic Millions Wyong 3yo & 4yo Stakes over 1200m. The talented son of Dawn Approach was slow to begin from Barrier 4, and in running was always just worse than mid field. Still jockey Josh Parr didn’t panic, just showed the horse clear air at the turn and Diamond Thunder’s sheer brilliance did the rest. Overtaking the Snowden trained pair in Hightail and Leviathan to take out the race. Hopefully he will give a good account of himself as he next heads up North.

Following in Diamond Thunder’s lead, Exceed the Stars (Star Witness/Exceed And Excite) stepped out next in the Wyong Coal Class 1 Handicap over 1000m.  This chestnut gelding was ridden beautifully by Josh Parr who rode a double for the day. Horse was kept relaxed throughout the race, only asked for effort when it counted most, and he didn’t disappoint.

Continuing the Stable’s amazing run, a good day at Wyong was had by all, congratulations to our owners and connections.
