The ever-consistent mare Expat (Makfi/Utmost Caution) once again did us proud by saluting in the Group 2 Millie Fox Stakes over 1300m at Rosehill, 19th February 2022.

The gates opened and Expat just flew out of barrier 8 to take up the lead early. Rated superbly by Apprentice Jockey Tom Sherry she led all the way for the very comfortable win. She was briefly challenged by Belluci Babe (Per Incanto/Savamour) in the straight but nothing was going to get past Expat today. We keep raising the bar and she keeps exceeding our expectations. What a star!

Congratulations to owner Tony McGrath, unable to be at Rosehill today I am sure he was cheering on his determined little mare from home.
