The track at Goulburn, Friday 11th March 2022 was rated a Heavy 9 but the trying conditions did not stop the stable enjoying a consecutive race double. The first winner of the day came in race six with debutant Super Extreme taking out the Goulburn Hay Supplies Maiden Plate over 1000m. This 3- year-old bay colt, son of Extreme Choice out of Super Lacuna, was fair into stride from barrier 3, securing third position one off the fence. Apprentice Jockey Tyler Schiller had him travelling with ease as he came wide on the turn. Up the straight he was slightly impeded by a horse dropping back but managed to regain his momentum coming away for what looked like an effortless win.

The next race saw Money From the Sky (Frankel/We Can Say It Now) finally win his first race, despite his usual antics, contesting the Goulburn Soldiers Club Maiden Plate over 1600m. He jumped from barrier 7 but was slow into stride trying to find his feet. Travelling last, he was about 4 lengths away from the closest runner. By the halfway mark Apprentice Jockey Tom Sherry had tacked on to the rest of the field and came extremely wide on the turn. Down the straight this statuesque chestnut colt bounded away to overtake second place getter Taizai (Maurice/Brazilian Pulse) to come away for this impressive breakthrough win.

Congratulations to both sets of owners Darby Syndications and Viribright Racing, I’m sure there are many more wins in store.
