The very consistent son of Olympic Glory (Ire), out of Lady Zabelia (NZ) Lord Olympus, took out the Ranvet Handicap over 1000m on Monday 4th October 2021 at Warwick Farm.
Stablemate Marway, jumped best and led them up while Lord Olympus held his position mid-field. Jockey Robbie Dolan kept his mount comfortable until after the turn where he came wide, urging his mount to take on the then leader Varda (Lonhro/Wild Queen). Gaining momentum with each stride, horse and rider crossed the line to win by ¾ of a length.
Congratulations to Darby Syndications and their owners and a special mention to Jockey Robbie Dolan. It was fantastic to see him back in the winners’ circle for the stable after a long road back from injury. Well done Robbie.
