The washed-out meeting scheduled for Wyong was reconvened at Newcastle, Saturday 26th March 2022. There Selhurst Park (Not A Single Doubt/Palazzo Cristallo) competed in race 1, the Twin Lakes Air Pty Ltd 3YO Maiden Plate over 900m.

Ridden by Jockey Christian Reith, a false start had our hearts in our mouths, but all horses were allowed to reload into the barriers to contest the race. Our handsome chestnut gelding, AKA Fabio, started from barrier 1 and quickly took the lead. Hugging the fence all the way he was briefly challenged by the fast- finishing Ultra (Not A Single Doubt/Extremely) in the straight but Selhurst Park managed to hold on and provide his very loyal and patient ownership group the win.
