The stable celebrated a winning treble at Hawkesbury, Thursday 7th November 2019. The first winner came in Race 1 The Fowler Civil Contracting Maiden Plate over 1500m, where Mission Phoenix (Reset/Oh Susannah) took out the honours. We witnessed a magnificent front-riding display by Koby Jennings to lead all the way and win.
We had to wait until race 5 to see Canyonero (Pierro/Rosnaree) taste victory in the Irresistible Pools & Spas 4yo & Up Maiden Plate over 1100m. After a long- documented run of ‘almosts’ Canyonero finally hit pay dirt. Ridden back by our new apprentice jockey in Tom Sherry he stormed out of the pack close to home, overtaking the leaders for a decisive win in the end.
The third and final winner for the day came in the form of Super Longlea (More than Ready/Longlea) in the last, the Chalker Accountants Benchmark 64 Handicap over 1100m. Ridden by our other apprentice jockey Robbie Dolan, it was a nice way to finish off the day resulting in 3 runners for 3 wins.
The treble at Hawkesbury signifies another milestone for the stable, congratulations to all winning owners and connections.
