A mid-week meeting at Warwick Farm, 9th December 2020 saw the Stable take out a consecutive race double.

In Race 5, import Skymax (Ger) contested the Ranvet Handicap over 2400m. Ridden by jockey Josh Parr he jumped from barrier 5, rolled forward and eventually settled better than mid-field. At the half-way mark, horse and rider soon tired of the slow pace upfront so they decided to loop the field, take the lead and cross back to the fence. Skymax (Maxios (GB)/Set Dream (FR)) showing his staying power, extended his lead and in the end won by an impressive 5 lengths. It was very satisfying to get our first win for the ownership group, Bermuda Racing. Also, a huge thank you to Jake Warren for the endorsement and entrusting us with Skymax.

The following race saw Onchao (Madaglia D’Oro/Grand Daughter) win again. This time finding the line in the TAB Handicap over 1300m. Another brilliant ride by Parr, saw him jump cleanly and finding a position second on the fence. He joined the leader, Lakia (Redoute’s Choice/Arabian Gold) at the turn coming to her outside. Both were on equal terms until the 100m when Onchao took the lead, then flashing home for the win.

Congratulations to all owners and connections. Another great meeting for the Stable.
