We were ecstatic to train a winner for Francis and Christine Cook, the Carrolls and our very own Week-end Warriors (a syndicate made up of family and friends who donate their time to the stable). The promising Righteousness won the Auld Lang Syne Maiden Plate over 1500m at Kembla Grange on Wednesday 3rd January, 2018 in only her second start in a race. Jumping from barrier one, Christian Reith pushed through to settle fourth on the fence, and kept his position throughout most of the race. He then took an inside split after straightening and hit the front inside the 100m mark, winning by a long neck.

Saint Francis and Lady Christine (haha) are both racing enthusiasts and wonderful supporters of our great industry. The stable is very grateful for their continued support and it is nice to acknowledge them with a win, the first of many I’m sure.
