The first of a winning double today at Randwick, Boxing Day Monday 26th December 2022 came with Zain’s Girl (Zoustar/Showhama) winning R4 the Furphy Handicap over 1000m. This 5-year-old chestnut mare jumped from a wide barrier. Guided by Apprentice Jockey Tyler Schiller, she allowed the speed to go upfront uncontested, content with a position near the rear of the field. Popping wide on the turn, but full of running she easily accounted for the leader to come away with the victory. Congratulations to the winning owners, proprietors of the Rashay’s Café and Restaurant chain.

The second victory of the day went to Mission Value (Capitalist/Maglissa) taking out a close finish in R8 the Arrowfield Group 1 Graduates Handicap over 1200m. Also ridden by Apprentice Jockey Tyler Schiller, who outrode his claim on this horse, fittingly for his Master. Congratulations also to his Hong Kong based owners, Mr Paul Cheng and Mr Lam.

We were very proud to have two of four winners ridden by Tyler on the day, who is just in fantastic form. Long may the winners continue.
