The stable enjoyed a winning double at Wyong, Tuesday 19th July 2022.

The first winner came in the form of Viribright’s Roma Avenue (Star Witness/Holly Zou) tasting success in Race 3, the Coombs Family Maiden Plate over 1350m. This talented but unpredictable 3-year-old Chestnut gelding was well behaved in his pre-race parade, evoking confidence from the team that this was his day. At the barriers, rival I Am Geronimo (I Am Invincible/Joy of Joys) jumped best taking up the lead. Ridden by Jockey Tom Sherry, Roma Avenue tucked in behind, gapping the rest of the field. At the 400m mark he came up to challenge the leader, taking over in the straight to come away with the win.

The second winner was in the sixth race, the Wyong Race Club Function Centre Class 1 Handicap over 1100m where Sneaky Paige (Deep Field/Manandro Girl) took the honours.  She jumped well but Apprentice Tyler Schiller allowed Pokerjack (Casino Prince/Princess Ailani) to take up the lead, keeping his mount comfortable in second position. In the straight Sneaky Page overtook the front runner to come away with the stable’s second win of the day.

Congratulations to all owners and connections of both horses.
